Fairfield Central High School is centrally located in Winnsboro, SC. The mission of Fairfield Central’s Visual and Performing Arts program is to provide quality arts education opportunities to enhance teaching and learning for every student every day. At FCHS, we offer multiple levels of art appreciation, band, chorus, dance, music appreciation, orchestra, theatre, technical theatre, and visual art courses, including Honors courses in Dance and Theatre. At Fairfield Central High School, we believe: Arts education recognizes that students learn differently and provides opportunities to combine physical, intellectual, and emotional skills in the learning process. Arts education enhances learning in other academic areas. A quality, sequential arts education develops creativity, innovation, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
