Arts Mission

To provide quality arts education opportunities to enhance teaching & learning for all student every day.

Arts Vision

1.  An environment that promotes holistic learning and artistic expression; a school where arts are highly visible.
2.  Opportunities for students to discover their own talents and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts leading to excitement and enthusiasm about the arts.
3.  Provide programs in choral music, band, strings, visual arts, theatre, dance, media arts, creative writing.
4.  Sequential instruction in arts classes and resources to prepare for college and careers in the arts.
5.  Effective communication among administration & guidance to promote a positive environment to grow the arts programs.
6.  Parent & community engagement as partners in arts education to promote and advocate for the arts.
7.  Funding for facilities, supplies, and equipment that is appropriate and conducive for all students to have a quality arts education and is commensurate with a growing vision in arts instruction and integration.

Arts Goals

• Provide quality, sequential programs in visual art, choral music, band, strings, dance, theatre, media arts, creative writing to improve student achievement.
• All faculty and teaching assistants will be provided content specific PD to enhance teaching and learning of/through the arts to improve student achievement.
• Promote public awareness of student successes in the arts communicating with stakeholders.
