ABC Schools are Model Schools

ABC Schools Serve as models for others to learn from, both in -state and across the country. Commitment to the arts is strategic in nature and often against popular trends, meaning it requires courageous and creative leadership. Accepting the ABC Certification is accepting the responsibility of a professional learning community and agreeing to provide professional learning opportunities to others.

Visit an ABC Certified School virtually?

Many of our ABC Schools, in collaboration with Renderhouse Films, have produced Virtual Visits that provide a mini school tour and  introduction to the school’s accomplishments, programs, and outstanding faculty members. These tours can be accessed via ABC Institute’s YouTube Channel or by visiting the ABC Certified Schools web page. Look for the camera icons and select a school of interest. On the school’s page, select “Virtual Tour” and enjoy! We currently have 19 ABC Certified Schools’ Virtual Visits with 5 more in production and more to come. Be sure to check back for additions to the growing playlist on ABC’s YouTube channel.

Find an ABC Certified School you’d like to visit using the search engine on our ABC Certified Schools web page or by using the ABC Schools button below. Reach out to us via email (abc@winthrop.edu) or phone (823-323-2451) to schedule an appointment. We will coordinate a personalized in person visit for you. Observations forms for these tours can be accessed using the button below. If you are not sure which school or schools you’d like to visit, please give us a call. We are happy to assist you in selecting a school that fits your interests. Note that we will be adding more search criteria options to the Certified Schools page in the future to assist in this process.
