Mission & Vision
The mission of the Visual and Performing Arts program is to maximize student potential through a quality, student-centered arts education: One Community, One Purpose, Every Child. To provide exemplary sequential arts instruction, delivered with depth and integrity so that every student is exposed to comprehensive and innovative arts experience in all grades K-8.
Arts Goals
- To provide and develop an exemplary arts education as defined in the South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards for Visual and Performing Arts Proficiency and the Profile of the SC Graduate.
- Provide arts professional development for all teachers
- In conjunction with the community and district, advocate policies that support and help sustain and promote equitable, quality arts programs.
