Arts Integration Institute 

Professional artists and master teachers will link literacy and the arts to create powerful learning opportunities for educators from core academic subjects and the arts. Addressing the arts effectively in the classroom requires that teachers possess understanding, confidence, and competence with visual arts, music, dance, and theater. This institute focuses on practices that educators can use in their classrooms for arts-integrated literacy instruction through sessions that will address cultural competency, text comprehension, text creation, and performances.
