Session Description:
Over the past two years, SC Arts Commission, Palmetto State Arts Education, and Arts in Basic Curriculum Project have sought to shift our story to learn how an arts-rich learning environment influences student engagement and hope. The purpose of this session is to share the findings of this research project in context to SC’s accountability plan and provide attendees with new advocacy tools to communicate the significance of arts-rich learning environments on our students and how it contributes to the goals outlined in the Profile of the SC Graduate.
