Mission & Vision
At Satchel Ford, our quality, comprehensive visual and performing arts programs enrich the learning and the lives of all students. We plan to continue to current instruction in music, visual arts, dance and theatre, as well as, performances and arts events for all students.
Arts Goals

To provide standards-based arts instruction in all arts disciplines by strengthening and expanding current arts programs in the classroom.

To offer students the highest level of quality, discipline-based arts experiences beyond the arts classroom.

Points of Pride

“Every kid can be a star!” All students in grades K-5 perform in our grade level performances.

We are the only elementary school in Richland County School District one with a full time, certified dance teacher and one of two in the district with a full time certified theatre teacher.

Artfest, which is held every Spring, is a day of the arts for all grade levels to participate and collaborate with professional artists, dancers, musicians. There are also several performances during Artfest.
