South Carolina students will soon benefit from $2.1 billion in supplemental ESSER III dollars, funded by the American Rescue Plan. ESSER III will fund programsthat accelerate learning through evidence-based practices in extended-year, summer, afterschool, and other out-of-school programs.

The Arts in Basic Curriculum Project is hosting a virtual workshop for teachers, administrators, artists, arts orgs and other education stakeholders to hear secrets of success directly from experts in summer and afterschool learning. Cut through any confusion about ESSER III and creatively contemplate the opportunities of this moment to ramp up student engagement and accelerate learning.
