This institute is designed for the arts teacher who is interested in beginning an endorsement certificate for serving artistically gifted and talented students. Teachers will be involved in the following activities:
- Determine characteristics of the artistically gifted and talented students,
- Study procedures for identifying artistically gifted and talented students,
- Develop curriculum for serving artistically gifted and talented students,
- Study issues related to psycho-social needs of the artistically gifted and talented students, and
- Determine opportunities for serving artistically gifted and talented students.
