This institute is designed for arts teachers to complete their endorsement certificate for serving artistically gifted and talented students. This course is designed to:
- prepare teachers to design appropriate curriculum for gifted and talented students;
- explore curriculum models, instructional strategies, and assessments to meet the needs and abilities of gifted and talented students;
- develop and write units and lesson plans for serving artistically gifted and talented students; and
- explore issues related to psycho-social needs of the artistically gifted and talented students.
