The Arts Education Mission of Saluda River Academy for the Arts is to advance every student through quality arts education that develops caring, productive, lifelong learners. The Arts Education Vision of Saluda River Academy for the Arts is to prepare all students for the future by giving them a broad spectrum of Arts and STEAM opportunities to become college and career ready. As responsible members of society, they will utilize their world-class knowledge and skills to compete in the global economy and pursue lifelong learning.

Arts Goals

  • Develop a comprehensive Arts program that is aligned with the 2017 South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards for Visual and Performing Arts Proficiency and Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.
  • Expand a positive arts relationship with the community at large.
  • Provide quality professional arts development opportunities.
  • Provide the facilities, equipment, and materials necessary to support the arts curriculum.
